Binghi Bob with B.I.B.L.E. Real Video

From the tender age of ten, Richard Garricks began to realize that the blood of his mother’s and grandparents’ musical talents was pouring through his veins. At this age, he began to feel the urges to sing and entertain others.

By the time the youngster was twelve years old, he was singing at his school’s barbeques and fetes. Garricks was born in the Eastern section of the parish of St. Andrew, in the seaport town of Rockfort. He was nicknamed “Bob” from that time.

As Bob grew, he began to listen to the music of Bob Marley, Culture, Burning Spear and Israel Vibration.

These culturally-based artists would give the young aspiring singer the influences that are needed to achieve his goals.

As he got older, he adapted “Binghi” which means the “first,” and Binghi Bob was born. Once settled in New York, Binghi began his quest to be the musical ambassador he knew he was meant to be.

Through the sound and power of music, he knew he wanted to reach and teach the youths the message of righteousness.

He has recorded a few records for various producers, but because of various reasons, those records did not make any impact on the intended targets - the youths.

Binghi Bob was always a devoted Bible reader and has always gotten solace and comfort from reading its many inspirational books and chapters.

In the summer of 2002, the inspiration came to Binghi Bob to record a song, encouraging people (especially the youths) to read their Bibles.

In a very short time, the lyrics to B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Information Before Leaving Earth) were completed.

Once the single was released, it took off.

Binghi made the rounds to the local radio shows in the New York tri-state area.
